Terms and Conditions
These draft terms apply to the Worth Spending service during pre-launch testing. Contact: worthspending@outlook.com. Full business identity and required contact details will be added before live orders are accepted.
1. What the service does
Worth Spending provides an automated, photo-based home-improvement assessment intended to help homeowners consider changes before selling. The free service provides a limited set of initial ideas. The paid full-home report costs £9.99 as a one-off payment and lets you upload up to eight additional photos after the first free assessment. The original free-assessment photo is included where it is securely attached to the checkout session, so the paid report may assess up to nine photos in total.
2. What the report is and is not
Recommendations are generated from photos and information you provide, including AI-assisted analysis. They are general guidance only, not a property valuation, survey, building inspection, legal/tax/financial advice, contractor quote or guarantee of a higher sale price, faster sale or return on spending. Photos may not reveal hidden defects or full room dimensions. Cost estimates are indicative and can vary substantially by region, condition, materials, labour and scope. Obtain independent quotes and professional advice where appropriate.
3. Your responsibilities
You must be entitled to submit the photos and information, provide accurate information to the best of your knowledge, and avoid uploading unnecessary personal or confidential details. Do not upload images of other people, children, documents, identity information, security arrangements or private material. You must not misuse the service, attempt to bypass payment controls or submit unlawful content.
4. Price and payment
The full report is a single payment of £9.99. There is no subscription. Payment is processed through Stripe Checkout. Your report is unlocked only after the checkout system verifies that Stripe confirms payment. If payment is not confirmed, the paid upload/report remains locked. Do not retry payment repeatedly if you believe a charge succeeded; contact us with your Stripe receipt.
5. Digital delivery and cancellation consent
The paid report is digital content supplied online. Before checkout, we ask you to expressly request immediate supply and acknowledge that your statutory 14-day cancellation right for digital content is lost once supply begins. If you do not give both confirmations, checkout should not continue. Your statutory rights are not affected where the law says they cannot be excluded.
6. Availability, errors and support
We aim to keep the service available, but automated services can fail or be temporarily unavailable. If a paid report cannot be completed because of a technical problem, contact worthspending@outlook.com with your payment reference. We will investigate and, where appropriate, arrange a retry or refund. Do not pay again solely because a report page shows an error.
7. Acceptable use and intellectual property
You may use your report for your own property planning. You must not copy, resell or commercially redistribute the service or reports without permission, except where applicable law permits. You retain your rights in the photos you upload and confirm you have permission to submit them.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or statutory consumer rights. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for decisions made solely on the basis of automated recommendations, inaccurate or incomplete inputs, third-party quotes, market changes, or work carried out by independent providers.
9. Complaints and governing law
Please email worthspending@outlook.com if you have a concern. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and consumers may also benefit from mandatory protections in the country where they live.
